Action/Effects:
Cupers supports and fortifies the digestive system
and improves liver and kidney function.
Contraindications:
Cupers is not recommended for persons with high
sensitivity to its components or suffering from
cholelithiasis (gallstones).
Dosage:
One capsule in the morning and evening with a glass
of water with meals.
Storage:
Store at room temperature (less than 25o C or 77o F)
in a dry place. Keep away from children.
Shelf Life:
Three (3) years from the date of manufacture noted on
the container.
Notes:
Milk thistle (Silybum
marianum). According to the Mayo Clinic, milk
thistle has been used medicinally for over 2000
years, most commonly for the treatment of liver and
gallbladder disorders. It contains a complex of
biologically active components with a
hepatoprotective effect (protects the liver against
damage from toxins).
Globe Artichoke (Cynara scolymus L)
has been used in traditional medicine for centuries
as a specific liver and gallbladder remedy. In
Brazilian herbal medicine, it is used for liver and
gallbladder problems, diabetes, high cholesterol,
hypertension, anemia, diarrhea, fever, ulcers, and
gout. In Europe, it is also used for liver and
gallbladder disorders. In several countries,
standardized herbal drugs with globe artichoke are
manufactured and sold as prescription medications to treat high
cholesterol and digestive and liver disorders.
Fumitory (Fumaria officinalis) contains
alkaloids, potassium salts, and tannins. It is also a
major source of fumaric acid. Fumitory is used in
natural medicine to cleanse the kidneys.
