Antiox+

Antiox+ is an active antioxidant that protects the body against harmful free radicals. It increases the protective properties of cells, improves the immune system, and helps prevent premature aging.

Each capsule contains:
Vine marc extract (grape pomace) .........  150 mg
Ginkgo Biloba .......................................   26.5 mg
Vitamin C .............................................   65 mg
Vitamin E .............................................    10 mg
Beta-carotene (for Vitamin A) ................      5 mg
Yeast with Selenium (equivalent to 50 µg
    of Selenium) ....................................     50 mg

Action/Effects:
Antiox+ contains a complete range of natural antioxidants that help protect the body from the formation of free radicals. It supplements the daily intake of vitamins and micro elements and increases the body's tolerance to stress.

Contraindications:
Antiox+ is not recommended for pregnant or lactating (breast feeding) women, or persons sensitive to its components.  Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Dosage:
One capsule of Antiox+ twice a day with a glass of water at meals.

Storage:
Store at room temperature (less than 25o C or 77o F) in a dry place. Keep away from children.

Shelf Life:
Three (3) years from the date of manufacture noted on the container.

Notes:

Ginkgo Biloba is native to China.  Extract made from Ginkgo leaves has been used in medicine for centuries in Europe, particularly in France and Germany.  The primary active ingredients in Ginkgo Biloba come from the flavonoids Glicozide and Ginkgolide.  They act to improve peripheral blood circulation, increase cellular oxygenation, provide an antioxidant effect, help regulate blood pressure at normal levels, and improve memory and other brain functions.

Extract of grape pomace is inlcuded in Antiox+ to provide Proantocyanidin, one of the most active and beneficial flavonoids.  Proantocyanidin is a well-known antioxidant that helps strengthen capillary walls, increase microcirculation, relax muscles, and rid the body of heavy metal salts and radionuclides.  Extract of grape pomace also reduces inflammation in the gastrointestinal and urinary systems.

The human body uses Beta-carotene to produce Vitamin A, an essential antioxidant that supports  mucous membranes, strengthens the immune system, supports healthy vision, and helps maintain reproductive functions.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects the eyes, heart, and circulatory systems against free radicals.  Vitamin C is also believed to protect genetic information against harmful mutations.

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant.  In combination with Vitamin C and Beta-carotene, it enhances the effectiveness of both and itself is more effective than when used alone.  Vitamin E and Beta-carotene each operates in its own sphere. Vitamin E is most effective in areas of the body with high concentrations of oxygen, such as blood vessels.  Beta-carotene, on the other hand, is more effective in cells and areas with lower oxygen levels.

Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Selenium and Zinc are proven antioxidants that suppress the formation of free radicals, protect cell membrane lipids, and decrease the risk of cardiovascular diseases and cancer.
